이번 프로그램은 COVID-19 확산 방지 및 사회적 거리두기를 실천하기 위해 온라인 화상강연으로 진행되며, 신청하신 분들은 자택에서 스마트폰/컴퓨터를 통해 온라인으로 참여하시게 됩니다.

프로그램 중 하나로, 미국인 강사가 진행을 맡아 현재 미국에서 일어나는 주요 현안에 관한 논의의 장을 마련 하며 영어로 수업을 진행할 예정입니다.
영어회화 및 미국문화에 관심있는 대학생/대학원생 분들의 많은 참여및 홍보를 부탁드립니다.

- 연사: 미국인 강사 조세핀 위 (Josephine Wie, MA in TESOL, Columbia University)
- 주제: “Life in the Age of Covid-19”In recent months, nations around the world have found themselves embroiled in an invisible war against a new enemy: a rapidly spreading novel virus named Covid-19. With the onset of the virus, our lives have been disrupted as never before, forcing changes to the way we work, play and learn; at the same time, the coronavirus crisis has revealed longstanding issues around the wealth gap, inequities in the American healthcare system, and political partisanship. Yet, people all across the world are displaying true heroism, generosity and ingenuity in these difficult times and becoming shining examples of the good that exists even in the midst of tragedy. We will unravel all the issues surrounding the pandemic in our second Zoom meeting.
